Concept Based Learning (Session 1)

In this workshop series (8 sessions) you will  in which students can see  and make  moving from the factual to the conceptual levels of thinking.learn to establish a thinking classroompatternsconnections

• DEEPEN YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF CONCEPT-BASED INQUIRY SO THAT YOU CAN EMPOWER STUDENTS TO BUILD TRANSFERABLE CONCEPTUAL UNDERSTANDING.

• THINK MORE INTENTIONALLY ABOUT LEARNING EXPERIENCES AND HOW YOU SEQUENCE AND PACE LEARNING TO SCAFFOLD STUDENTS' THINKING.

• UNDERSTAND THE FLEXIBLE NATURE OF INQUIRY, REVISITING PHASES AS REQUIRED SO THAT YOU CAN DESIGN LEARNING ENGAGEMENTS WITH INTENT.

Enrolment on this PD will require you to attend all 8 workshop sessions and/or complete tasks assigned to each session.
