About the Online Course
In this workshop series (8 sessions) you will learn to establish a thinking classroom in which students can see patterns and make connections moving from the factual to the conceptual levels of thinking.
- DEEPEN YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF CONCEPT-BASED INQUIRY SO THAT YOU CAN EMPOWER STUDENTS TO BUILD TRANSFERABLE CONCEPTUAL UNDERSTANDING.
- THINK MORE INTENTIONALLY ABOUT LEARNING EXPERIENCES AND HOW YOU SEQUENCE AND PACE LEARNING TO SCAFFOLD STUDENTS' THINKING.
- UNDERSTAND THE FLEXIBLE NATURE OF INQUIRY, REVISITING PHASES AS REQUIRED SO THAT YOU CAN DESIGN LEARNING ENGAGEMENTS WITH INTENT.
Enrolment on this PD will require you to attend all 8 workshop sessions and/or complete tasks assigned to each session.
