Curriculum Workshop: Drama Masterclass

Workshop Description

The workshop will be a practical exploration of using physical theatre such as Tadashi Suzuki's method of training, and Anne Bogart's Viewpoints, specifically aimed at devising new theatre pieces, within the classroom.  We will focus on a series of activities that teachers can build into their lessons that allow creative ideas and exploitation of their work to be developed. The workshop will introduce teachers to a series of activities and develop starter ideas that scaffold creative learning within the classroom. This work can be used with primary, middle, and high school students.

Time- November 13th, 4-6 PM HK local time

The ideal number of participants- Minimum of 7 and Maximum of 20

The workshop will be opened up to all YCYW Arts teachers and any member of staff interested in Physical Theatre.
