The Stretch and Challenge initiative and policy encompasses these areas and ensures that all schools provide curriculum extension to our very brightest and most able students.

Super-Curricular Programmes (SCPs): These programmes engage students and staff in deep learning through real-world industry projects and university research. Each programme is linked to a range of subject standards and skills that go above and beyond the classroom. Students gain recognition of their learning and outcomes from SCPs through certificates and transcripts appropriate to the length and level of challenge in the programme.
